Food for the Soul

Food for the Soul is what we call our adult small group learning programming, which is offered in the fall and in the spring - with sessions from 4 to 6 weeks long, on a variety of topics. All are welcome to participate!

Book Study Groups

Parkdale has an book club that meets once a month, on Saturday mornings. Books are chosen by the group, and there's always rich discussion!

Men's Breakfast

All men of the congregation are invited to Parkdale's Men's Breakfast at 8:00 AM on the first Saturday of each month at the Village Park Inn. No agenda; just fellowship and conversation.

Women's Lunch Bunch

Join the women of the church for lunch on the last Sunday of every month right after church. Meet at the Red Lobster on 16th Avenue.

Knitting Ministry

The knitting ministry at Parkdale is dedicated to knitting Prayer Shawls for people who are ill or in need of comfort.The knitting group is also knitting brightly coloured socks and slippers for teenagers in the Alberta Children's Hospital.

Social Drop-In Bridge

Social Bridge is played the first and third Mondays of each month at 1:15 PM. Joint the group for a cup of coffee, some goodies, some laughter, and a relaxing afternoon of bridge. Everyone welcome.

Naramata Centre
Naramata Centre is an educational retreat located in Naramata BC (just outside of Penticton) which is operated by the United Church of Canada. We encourage friends of Parkdale to check into the many courses offered to personal learning, enrichment and creative study. Many Parkdale families enjoy their summer holidays at Naramata! And many of us have benefited from fall, winter and spring courses there too. http://www.naramatacentre.net/

Rosebud Theatre

Three or four times a year we gather a group together and car pool to Rosebud for lunch and their afternoon theatre production. This has developed into a fun group!
