Facilities

Our congregation’s vision is to be a resource for the community, to support lifelong learning, nurture health and well-being, and seek justice in the world. Parkdale United Church is a dynamic centre for learning, community enrichment, personal growth, and the arts. We welcome community groups, agencies, and health and education practitioners to use our beautiful spaces for meetings, retreats, and other events. Auditorium

  • A beautiful main floor room with hardwood floors
  • A wall of windows overlooking the garden
  • Comfortably seats 100 to 150 people at tables and chairs
  • Seats up to 200 people, theatre style
  • Adjacent kitchen facilities for serving food and beverages

Sanctuary

  • Traditional open beam sanctuary with centre aisle and oak pews
  • Vintage Mason and Hamlin grand piano and Johannus organ
  • Seats over 300 for concerts, weddings, funerals, and worship events

Conference Room
  • A large carpeted room on lower level with natural light
  • Seats 48 at round tables, 40 at rectangular tables and 60 theatre style
  • Can be configured with round or rectangular tables
  • Easy access to kitchenette and washrooms

Boardroom

  • Carpeted room on lower level
  • Suitable for small group meetings
  • Seats up to 12 people around tables
  • Seats up to 20 people, theatre style seating

Labyrinth

  • Large open room with inlaid labyrinth
  • Multi-use space for meditative exercises and quiet reflections
