Children's Ministry

Our Sunday School Program is for children age 4 to grade 5. We are enjoying creating our own unique curriculum, drawing from several resources. Bible stories and concepts are taught through such things as Art, Drama, Music, Games, and Storytelling. We interact with the children in a multi-age setting.
This age group has a new facilitator - Eva Beiderman joins us effective January 2011.

Nursery Care - infant to 3 years Here at Parkdale we have a nursery staff person, who is available to care for the youngest among us, from 10:15 until the conclusion of worship. Our nursery is located in the east wing of the building, in the "Blue Room," a space wonderfully suited for child care. For the safety of all of these young ones, we ask that no peanut products be brought to that space.

"KAYAC" is our Kids and Youth Ministry Advisory Committee. This group includes adults and youth of the congregation who work together to coordinate and support and the Children's and Youth Ministries of our congregation.
